Obituary

Carol Ann Quackenbush 82 of Manchester died Sunday October 27, 2024 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born and raised in Upper Montclair, she resided in Howell and Colts Neck before moving to Manchester in 2005. Carol is a graduate of Montclair High School and Wilfred Academy of Hair Design. She was a hairstylist for 27 years and worked at Elder Elegance Salon, Freehold before retiring in 2012. She was a horse lover and owner and showed many of them over the years. Carol is predeceased by her sister, Joan Anelli. Surviving are children, Kimberly Mitaritonna, Kristine Ficsor (Steven), Jacqueline Lauritsen, and Robert Quackenbush (Natalie), 10 grandchildren, and many cousins. Visitation is Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Chapel service is Friday at 11:30 AM at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River with entombment to follow.
