Connie Donatello Todd 

1942-2026

Concetta "Connie" Todd, born December 30, 1942, in Montclair, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in West Orange, New Jersey, at the age of 83.

Connie led a vibrant and adventurous life, embracing each chapter with curiosity and a deep appreciation for connection. She spent time living in Point Pleasant, Bermuda, and Florida before returning to her New Jersey roots. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by loved ones.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gary Todd; her parents, Joseph and Anna Donatello; and her sister, Geraldine Allen (James). She is lovingly remembered by her children: Donna (Fischer) Naturale (Robert), Joseph Fischer, and Sandra (Fischer) McClurg (Matthew), whose father is Walter Fischer. She is also survived by her twin sister, Alice Sepe (Kenneth); her cherished grandchildren: Sean, Nora (fiancé Nick), Chris (Carissa), Connie, Lauren, Ryan, and Joey; and nine treasured nieces and nephews.

Connie earned a Bachelor's degree from The New School in New York City and a Master's degree in Counseling from New York University. During her graduate studies, she contributed meaningfully at a local battered women's shelter. Her professional path reflected her dedication to helping others - working in career development at Bloomfield College and Georgian Court University and later as a nurse recruiter at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. In later years, she enjoyed part-time work at the Thomas Edison Museum gift shop in West Orange.

A lifelong learner and enthusiastic traveler, Connie embarked on many adventures, including a memorable 100-day world cruise. Her warmth, generosity, and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at St. Cassian's Church in Upper Montclair, NJ.

Her legacy of compassion and joy will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have shared in her journey.
