Frank Rubino

Frank Rubino passed away on August 19th., 2021.  Thanks to Rosemary DiGeronimo Sternbach for letting us know.

Frank served as treasurer for our reunions and kept track of every dollar coming in and going out so that we never had any worries about money.  Here's Frank at out last reunion, from photo by Susan Becker Knight.

 

Frank's obituary (below) says he was an "avid world-wide traveler."  Here's a photo of Frank (in red shirt)  that he posted on our class website in 2013.

 

This is Frank's obituary from The Star-Ledger, August 21, 2021.

Frank Rubino had a 'lifelong career' as actuary.   U.S. Army veteran, of Belleville, Frank Rubino, of Belleville, formerly of Montclair, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021.

Visiting is Monday, August 23rd, from 3-6 pm at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove Street, Montclair. Funeral Service is Tuesday, August 24th, at 10 am at Caggiano Memorial with entombment following at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.

Frank graduated from Seton Hall University. While studying at Seton Hall he also participated in the ROTC program which prepared him for his dedicated service as a Lieutenant in the US Army stationed in Germany. Upon his return from Germany, he then began his lifelong career as an Actuary with the Prudential Insurance Company. Frank was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Montclair. He was also a member of Montclair Unico. Frank was an avid world-wide traveler and a restaurant/food aficionado. Frank was predeceased by his parents Andrea and Eleanor Rubino and by his brother Andrew. He is survived by many loving friends and cousins.
